Storyglass Mosaics

Storyglass Mosaics is the studio of Anne C. Del Core, who learned glass mosaic in 2022. She works by breaking, cutting and gluing glass, which she calls "putting broken and cut glass back together in a new way." Some pieces start from photographs, some from ideas, and some from a single piece of glass. She chose glass for its luminosity, reflection, texture and depth, and encourages people to touch her pieces and see them in sunlight.

She says "all my art has a story." She grew up in Frostburg, Maryland, earned a degree in radio/TV/film from the University of Maryland, and worked in TV sales, marketing and management and then community and youth health advocacy before turning to glass. She sells original mosaics and takes commissions.
