Heather Hogan

Heather Hogan makes art under the name Tenacious Goods, pairing digital fabrication like laser cutting with hand techniques and upcycled or community-sourced materials. Her pieces are detailed and colorful, built from cut paper, low-relief wood, steel and mixed media, and she returns often to ideas of place, tenacity and the roles women carry. Public participation is a big part of the practice, and she also teaches web design and modern making at Sacramento City College.

Her public work runs across the region, from cut-steel triptychs for Caltrans on Highway 99 at Mack Road to electrical box art in Natomas and Rancho Cordova and a 2026 piece at the Yolo Basin Foundation Interpretive Center in Davis. She shows regularly at Axis Gallery and Prism Art Space, has been in the Crocker's Big Names, Small Art, and leads hands-on printing, collage and sublimation workshops.
