Ray Brankline

Ray Brankline, who also works under the family name Brancaleone, is a long-time Sacramento resident who says he has "always been interested in art, painting and drawing" since childhood. His work ranges across portraiture, scenic vistas and more interpretive pieces, with close attention paid to expression when he paints people, children included.

These days much of his time goes to commissioned portraits, both of people and, in his words, "many of adorable fur babies." He shows his paintings during Sac Open Studios, the annual Sacramento-area studio tour.
