Stacie Miranda

Stacie Miranda is a Northern California oil painter, originally from Michigan, who built her painting practice alongside a long career as a registered nurse. She has studied with painters Michael Siegel and Terry Miura, and works both en plein air and in the studio.

Her landscapes aim to convey light, atmosphere and a sense of place, simplifying a scene into shapes, color and expressive brushwork while keeping it recognizable, in small works like "The Winemaker's Hills" and "Desert Monuments." She describes painting as a way of slowing down and finding beauty in everyday life.
