About Subtle Tattoos and Permanent Makeup

Subtle Tattoos and Permanent Makeup is a one-artist, appointment-only studio in Sacramento, off Power Inn Road. On the tattoo side it does flash and custom fineline work; designs and placement are approved over email before you book. To start, text the artist your name, idea, placement, size in inches, preferred dates and any reference photos.

Permanent makeup includes ombre powder brows (about three hours, $330, touch-up not included), lip blush and lip neutralization for uneven or cool-toned lips, plus cover-ups and corrections after a consultation. Every booking takes a non-refundable $30 deposit that goes toward the total, and the balance can be paid by cash, card, Venmo or Zelle. Brow and lip clients must be 18 to 60 and meet the health guidelines on the booking page. No children, pets or extra guests are allowed in the studio.

Brows

  • Ombre Powder Brow $330 About 3 hours. Soft, powder-filled brow that starts light and darkens toward the tail, like a makeup look. First-time brows only (no previous tattoo)
  • Cover-Up / Correction For previous brow tattoos. Consultation with photos required before booking

Brow Touch-Ups

Returning clients only. Touch-ups on another artist's work count as a cover-up.

Lips

$30 deposit, applied to your total. Touch-up not included.

  • Lip Blush Powder-filled lip color matched to you, like the look of lipstick. First-time lips only, Fitzpatrick skin types 1–3
  • Lip Neutralization Evens out hyperpigmented, two-toned or cool, purple or blue lips. More than one session may be needed
  • Cover-Up / Correction For previous lip blush. Consultation with photos required before booking

Lip Touch-Ups

Returning clients only.
