The Butterscotch Den
Retro Broadway dive bar where you grill your own steak, sip classic and house cocktails, and catch live jazz twice a week.
About The Butterscotch Den
The Butterscotch Den bills itself as a grill-your-own steakhouse and dive bar with an upscale twist, summed up in its motto, "Fine Diving." The room is all vintage decor, and the bar is part of the Irish Hospitality group alongside sister bar The Snug. Imbibe has compared the mood to an era when yacht rock ruled and a night out was cheap.
Order a top sirloin, New York strip or ribeye and cook it yourself, with baked potatoes, corn on the cob, dinner rolls and shrimp cocktail on the side, or go for the Den Burger. The drink list runs from a Den Old Fashioned and strawberry Negroni to a mango margarita and spirit-free options. The Andrew Maloney Jazz Trio plays Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 10 PM, and happy hour runs daily from 4 to 6 PM and again from 10 PM to close.
