Vallejo's Restaurant
Longtime Southside Park Mexican kitchen at 4th and S, serving chilaquiles and breakfast burritos, combo plates, house specialties and catering.
About Vallejo's Restaurant
Vallejo's traces back to 1983, when Arturo and Efrain Vallejo opened Vallejo's Deli in a Midtown Victorian. The family moved downtown in 1992 and soon added this spot at 4th and S streets in Southside Park, which is the location still open today after the downtown O Street restaurant closed in early 2023.
The menu runs from morning to night: rancheros, several styles of chilaquiles, omelettes, menudo, pozole and breakfast burritos, then enchiladas, flautas, chile verde, mole con pollo, fajitas and seafood plates like camarones a la diabla and mar y tierra. Vallejo's also caters, setting up a full spread at offices, homes and event venues, and takes online orders for pickup.
