About
IRONMAN California takes over Sacramento for the day. Athletes start with a 2.4-mile downriver swim in the Sacramento River, ride a fast, flat 112-mile course through farmland and wine country, then run 26.2 miles through the city to a finish at the California State Capitol.
Spectating is free. The finish line on Capitol Mall is the best place to cheer, and racers keep coming in until midnight. Expect road closures along the bike and run courses.
