Living History Day at the State Capitol

Step back to 1906 at the California State Capitol Museum. From 11 AM to 2 PM, docents in period clothing act out scenes in the Capitol's historic first-floor rooms, showing what California and its Capitol were like more than a century ago.

Docents also staff stations on the history of the State Flag, the symbolism of the State Seal and how electricity came to Sacramento.
