EarthFireWater Studio

EarthFireWater Studio is a Folsom pottery studio whose wheel-thrown work is shown in collections by its two potters, Tanveer and Jaya. They describe their practice as "a submission to nature," letting emotion flow through earth, water and fire, and they say the pieces are drawn from "our ancient heritage of the Indian sub-continent."

Collections include traditional Warli and Alpona motifs alongside earth-toned and deep blue glazes, with the aim of color that feels essential rather than imposed. They want each pot to become part of daily life and the gathering of friends. The studio takes commissions and teaches classes.
