18 Grams
Vietnamese and Thai iced coffees, the four-shot "18 to the Brain" and a full kitchen from a shop once voted Sacramento's favorite.
About 18 Grams
18 Grams started in Elk Grove in 2017, founded by Danny Chuong and Justine Lee, and added this Howe 'Bout Arden shop on Ethan Way in 2019. Readers of the Sacramento Bee voted it the region's best coffee shop in a 2021 poll. The coffee is locally roasted, and bags of beans like their espresso blend and a Kenya single origin are sold to take home.
The drink list leans on Southeast Asian flavors: Vietnamese iced coffee, Thai coffee and tea, chocolate chai and matcha lattes, plus the shaken four-shot "18 to the Brain." This location also runs a real kitchen, with breakfast burritos, avocado toast, an avocado BLT, chicken sisig rice bowls and steak and eggs.
