Hanford Sand & Gravel

Hanford Sand & Gravel is a three-generation, family-owned supplier that has served the greater Sacramento Valley for more than 50 years. It is the region's largest family-run ready-mix operation, running 25+ ready-mix trucks and 7 transfer trucks out of three plants: the main office and batch plant in Elk Grove, a batch plant in Roseville, and a Sacramento satellite plant on Florin Road (not open to the public). Customers talk directly to ownership, without layers of bureaucracy.

Ready-mix concrete. Delivered across Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights and Rocklin, including hot and cold weather mixes, fiber reinforcement, Increte color systems and Euclid admixtures. Contractors can request a mix design or a detailed quote online.

Concrete blocks. Interlocking concrete blocks and V-blocks for retaining walls, storage bins and flood control, with delivery.

Landscape materials. Bark and mulch, decorative rock and cobbles, sand, decomposed granite, aggregate base and topsoil blends, including Hanford's own Mr. Good Stuff soil. Bulk orders are by phone; bagged soil and bark can be ordered online with same-day or 3-day shipping. Free concrete and landscape calculators help work out how much to order.
