Milka Coffee Roasters
Mansion Flats roaster pouring its own coffee inside an 1861 Victorian, with local pastries, kombucha and a cozy nook to settle into.
About Milka Coffee Roasters
Milka Coffee Roasters roasts, serves and sells its own coffee from an 1861 Victorian on G Street in Mansion Flats. Founder and roaster Samir Benouar named the business after his great-grandmother, Milka Radonich, who once ran a small business in Sacramento. He worked in coffee shops in New York, San Francisco and Sacramento before starting Milka. A second Milka counter is in the WAL Public Market on R Street.
The menu sticks to well-made basics: drip, espresso drinks, mochas and loose-leaf tea, plus seasonal drinks such as an Apple Hill latte with apple-spice syrup and a lavender matcha. The coffee is sustainably sourced. Pastries come from local bakers, there's kombucha too, and the Victorian's rooms and nooks with free Wi-Fi make it a good place to stay a while.
