About Pizzasaurus Rex
Pizzasaurus Rex makes Detroit-style pizza out of a small Midtown shop at 2322 K Street: thick square pies with a crisp, cheesy edge and a soft, airy middle, topped with a three-cheese blend of mozzarella, provolone and Swiss.
Whole pies include cheese with ricotta, pepperoni, a loaded combo, veggie, and a white-sauce potato pizza, plus vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni and vegan combo versions. By the slice there's cheese, pepperoni and the rotating Dino Slice, announced daily on Instagram. Sides include hand-cut and truffle fries, Dino Eggs and a seasonal salad, with ranch, hot honey and cilantro-jalapeño Dino Sauce for dipping. Cans of beer, cider and natural wine round it out.
Ordering is pickup through their online store or by phone, and they ask that orders of more than four pizzas be called in. A rewards program earns points on every order.
