Sweet Music Studio Cafe

Sweet Music Studio Cafe is a family-operated cafe on Greenback Lane built around arts, music and community. Co-owner Evelyn Guizar runs the day-to-day, her husband Javier, a sound engineer, handles live audio, and their son Daniel serves as musical director. The room seats about 80 and opened with a grand opening in January 2026.

The coffee comes from The Mill in Sacramento, the chai from North Fork Chai Co. in Placer County, and there is beer, wine and light food too. Local musicians play several nights a week, from jazz and classical guitar to small bands and open mics, with seating first come, first served. The space can also be booked for rehearsals and private rentals.
