About Venus at Ease Massage & Sound Healing
Venus at Ease is a small massage and sound healing studio on the third floor at 3400 Broadway in Oak Park, run by Kat (short for Katrina), a certified massage therapist and certified yoga teacher trained in sound healing. The room is done in deep greens with cream and gold, built for slowing down.
Sessions aren't a set routine. Kat draws on Active Release Techniques (ART), Swedish, dynamic deep tissue, lymphatic and fascial release, craniosacral work, clinical massage and breathwork, and tailors each one to the areas you want worked on. Her signature sessions pair a massage with a sound healing finish using singing bowls and chimes, and there's a sports recovery massage for active bodies.
Booking is online and by appointment only. Gift certificates and five-session series (five for the price of four) are available. Follow @venus.at.ease for community gatherings like astrology nights and full moon sound circles.
