Karen Finley is a Sacramento painter working in acrylic and mixed media, including acrylic painting on mirrors. She describes herself as an artist, improviser and connector, and says the ideas of searching, seeking and recycling keep finding their way into her art, with pieces built around doorways, light and the search for answers.
Finley has spent more than 30 years supporting education programs for parents and young children.
