Capital City Music Together
Music Together family classes for babies and kids up to 5 and their grown-ups, at Sierra 2 in Sacramento plus Folsom and Roseville.
About Capital City Music Together
Capital City Music Together runs the Music Together program locally: 45-minute family classes for kids from birth to age five, with a parent or caregiver alongside. Each class mixes songs, rhythm rhymes, movement and instrument play, and it is a relaxed, no-performance setting that works whether or not the grown-up thinks they can sing.
Sessions run about 10 weeks, with mixed-age classes plus baby classes for 0 to 18 months. In Sacramento, classes meet at the Sierra 2 Community Center on 24th Street, with more in Folsom and Roseville. Tuition is $248 for a 10-week session, siblings over 8 months are $100, and babies under 8 months come free. Each family gets the session's songbook and music. Popular times fill up, so register early, or book a free demo class first. Winter registration opens November 15.
