Parkside
A national parks-themed bar on K Street near Golden 1 Center, with swings, beer pong and DJs inside and on the patio.
About Parkside
Parkside took over the former Malt & Mash Irish pub space at 715 K Street and reworked it around a national parks theme. Owner Bob Simpson, who ran Malt & Mash for about ten years and is also behind Townie Bar on K Street and Parkside Sports Bar & Grill in Davis, has described the idea as bringing the outdoors inside. The room seats about 181 people.
It sits a short walk from Golden 1 Center, so it works for drinks before or after a game or concert. Expect oversized swings, beer pong tables and DJs both indoors and on the outdoor patio. There's no food served right now, so eat before you go.
