Spoon and Fork
Grab-and-go Filipino spot on Broadway from the Lumpia Truck team, with hand-rolled lumpia, silog plates, pork adobo and halo halo.
About Spoon and Fork
Spoon and Fork is a small grab-and-go Filipino counter on Broadway from Joanne and Ray Suavillo, the couple behind The Lumpia Truck. Lumpia is the anchor: chicken or pork Shanghai rolls and a vegetable version, hand-rolled and fried, with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce, plus calamansi or sinigang-seasoned wings and crispy chicken chicharon.
The rest of the menu runs to rice plates. Silog plates pair tapa, longanisa, tocino or Spam with garlic fried rice, an over-easy egg and salted egg salad, and steamed-rice plates include pork sisig, pork adobo, lechon kawali and burger steak with mushroom gravy. For dessert there is halo halo and mais con yelo, drinks include house calamansi juice and an ube coffee, and lumpia trays of 25 to 60 pieces can be ordered for parties.
